1. Are you able to travel further a field?
I would be very willing to travel further a field in order to photograph your day. If you are a considerable distance from Bournemouth then I would suggest we arrange a mutually suitable location for meeting pre wedding.
2. How many photos do you shoot in the day? And how many photos would we receive?
I will shoot as many images as needed to fully cover all aspects of your day. I prefer to shoot quality over quantity. You should expect to receive anywhere between 250 – 400 photos. This depends on the length of the day, and any personalised requirements.
3. Can we personalise the packages to our own requirements?
I will be happy to discuss any personal requirements you have and will make every effort to include them.
4. Do we get a selection of black and white or colour images?
I would aim to provide you with a selection of both black and white as well as colour photos. Black and white photos are great for showing the emotion and colour is great for vibrancy in your images. I will use my discretion and experience to select the best format for the photo.
5. How long does it take to get our photos?
You should expect to receive your images within 3 weeks of your wedding taking place. I prefer to edit the photos whilst the memories of your day are still fresh in my mind. If you select photo books these may take up to 8 weeks.
6. Do you insist on large numbers of group photos?
I never insist on anything for your wedding day; this is your day and you decide how you want it! I want to capture your day how you planned it and so will work to your ideas and timings.
7. What is your particular style?
Three words would describe my style:
- Reportage: The process of telling news using print and electronic media.
- Photojournalistic: A form of journalism in which photographs play a more important role than the accompanying text.
- Documentary: Using film, photographs and sound recordings of real events.
8. Do we meet you before the wedding day?
Yes, we would meet a few times before your wedding. For more on this please see ‘process’.
