Jason & Kim’s Wedding @ East Close Hotel, Hampshire

For me, there is always something so special about photographing a wedding in December. This time of year brings something magical, something that makes a wedding so special, so beautiful, the bride and groom need only turn up to make it perfect. On this occasion Jay and Kim did a lot more than that and I loved photographing their day. It was elegant, fresh and so unique. Kim looked stunning, Jay turned up in a VW and they chose a perfect location, East Close Hotel, on the edge of the New Forest. I love my job!

Will & Fiona’s Wedding @ Compton Acres Italian Villa, Dorset

I knew I would enjoy photographing this wedding when I met Will and Fiona for the first time; a brilliant couple with great taste! As well as choosing to get married at a beautiful time of year (October), they chose a perfect venue for their special day too. Compton Acres in Poole is the most stunning backdrop to capture great, fresh and elegant shots. It’s hardly surprising that they wanted to get married here, where Fiona grew up. What with the incredible weather, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Bridal shoot for Emma Victoria Payne in Mayfair

Last week, I had the privilege of shooting some absolutely stunning dresses designed and made by Emma Victoria Payne. Her exquisite, elegant dresses blended beautifully with the vintage style of No.4 Hamilton Place and were effortlessly displayed in their full glory by model Eleanor. This was a dream shoot for me because it was one that fitted and matched the style I love the most – timeless and elegant. It was a pleasure to work with both Victoria and Eleanor ,who were both so professional, responsive and as eager as me to get great photos. A fantastic day!

Family Portraits | Grant family on the beach

The beginning of October brought a beautiful, summer like weekend to Bournemouth. We so happened to have our friends Stu, Lou and their beautiful girls, Sophia and Lexi (our Goddaughters) staying with us. With such great weather and them visiting the coast, we had no option but to go out on a little photoshoot on Sandbanks beach.

Showing these pictures now, when it’s cold and dull, will hopefully remind you of warmer times! I can’t wait for the warmth to return and many more family portraits shoots on the beach in 2012.
